When I think about it, I have been seeing the Dave Matthews Band since high school. I have seen them live more than any other live act, although I am almost surpassing this number with each Phish show I attend. I had been to about 60 DMB shows between 2000-2008, and I am excited to possibly see them one last time before they take their hiatus at the end of this year. In gearing up for possibly taking another shot at a DMB show, I have drawn this tribute print as a homage to one of the most influential bands of my past. A portion of the proceeds of this print will go to benefit the BAMA works foundation.

A full scale 18x24 Leroi Moore Tribute will follow these two print editions, with proceeds to benefit the Leroi Moore Fund.

Leroi Tribute will be released sometime in Late October/ Early Novemeber.

Hey everyone, summer tour has drawn to a close. 14 shows in 7 different states (NY 3 different times). I met a bunch of new, great friends, as well as rekindled relationships with friends from tour that I havent seen in years. This was my first experience with lot art. In many ways, anything I do is a first, regarding this art process. I am virginal at best, when it comes to describing the feeling I get when I look at what I have done since March. This blogspot launched that month, and within the last 6 months I have been treated to over 100 orders, and countless emails offering support and positive feedback. I sincerely thank each and every one of you that have helped me get my feet wet, and the proverbial ball rolling. I am not stopping, nor am I planning on standing still at any moment. I have a few projects lined up and a couple things that are either finished or on the way to becoming complete. I just finished my first official gig poster, and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and brighter.

"A Ripple" - Jerry Garcia Tribute Screen Print

Jerry Garcia was born on August 1st 1942, I was born August 1st, 1982. I have always had the pleasure of sharing my birthday with Captain Trips, if I had to have a celebrity birthday buddy, I am glad to say it is Jerry, which is much better than Coolio, who is also born August 1st.

Unfortunately, after battling with drug addiction and diabetes, Jerry Garcia passed away August 9th, 1995 in a drug rehabilitation facility.

For this reason many fans and deadheads the World over celebrate the first week in August as "Jerry Garcia Week".

In celebration of Jerry Garcia Week 2010, I have made a special tribute print. Here are the details for this particular print release, this one is very different so try to follow:

This print will go onsale Sunday, August 1st at 11:00 AM EST, it will remain onsale until 12:00 Midnight on Monday, August 9th. After this date, this piece will no longer be on sale and the prints will no longer be produced.

This print will not have a set edition size. Edition size is based on how many prints are sold in the 10 day period between August 1st -9th. If we sell 5 of these, the edition size is 1/5, if we sell 134 of these, the edition size will be 1/134.

Each piece in the show was created as a celebration of the Three dayPhish run at The Greek Theatre, August 5-7, 2010 in Berkeley, California.

On tour, you see a lot of art one piece at a time as you stroll the lots. Some you walk by, others you have the chance to really check out. Berkeley artist Ryan Kerrigan thought it would be interesting to gather everybody’s creations together, and have them hang for an extendedperiod of time. Eleven artists total are represented in the exhibition:Ryan Kerrigan, A.J. My nerve damage / carpal tunnel demon has reared its ugly head once again.

I have no idea why my hand stays asleep all day, believe it or not you need your strong hand for every damn thing.

I am sidelined, at least for the next couple days, I have to rest this hand.

As I type this entire post with my left index finger, I am dreading the time lost right now.

Ryan Kerrigan was kind enough to add me in his Greek Art exhibition, adding another deadline to the pile of rapidly approaching deadlines I already have to finish. Keep checking to see if I am able to accomplish everything, one handed or not.

"The End" is here! I am just as displeased with the end of this series as most of you are. I am very much a fan of the show and will miss it once it leaves the air this Sunday. In my appreciation for Lost I have created another art work inspired by the show. These will go on sale tomorrow, 5/21/2010 at 3:00 P.M. Est. There will be two versions of the Lost finale screen print. These prints are all hand embellished and detailed. Each piece is unique and one of a kind with hidden imagery and added facial detail. Keep an eye on the store tomorrow. Some other surprises have surfaced as well.

First update in a while. I have been working on a lot of new things including an entirely new process. I also was hit with a bout of some kind of nerve damage or carpal tunnel in my drawing hand. It became virtually impossible to hold a pencil due to the constantly incessant, pins and needles type numbness in my hand. I hit up the chiropractor for a few adjustments, to absolutely no avail. I am still in a considerable amount of pain and certain tasks have become fairly daunting. However, I have remained dedicated to this process and getting out some new art and the final Lost piece I promised I would have ready for the finale. After working through a fairly rough learning curve I am finally starting to produce some pretty exciting stuff.

To those of you still awaiting your prints, I apologize for the delays. I explained myself further in the poster tubes that are on their way to you now. I had an issue with the printers and I disliked the original printings. I had to get everything reprinted and trash most of the originals. I would rather sacrifice the extra days in shipping then sacrifice quality in the finished product. I hope most people will understand and the bonus inside of the print will make up for it. Again I am sorry,and thank you again for supporting my work.

Thank you to everyone who has been sending me emails and feedback from the "Candidates" sale. By the middle of the week everyone should have their prints in the mail. (With possibly the exception of those of you from Canada and Australia who placed orders.)

As far as those of you who have been emailing and inquiring about the "...Just Progress" Print. I appreciate your curiosity and I am glad so many of you are hungry for the second part of the piece. As far as the, "Can I see what it looks like now, I promise I wont show anyone else"? Emails go, I wanted to give everyone who ordered already a sneak peek at the print before I released it to the internet. But A lot of you seem to be really eager to see it. So this is what I have decided to do.. I am going to at least give you the names of the characters I drew in this second panel. Hopefully this will at least hold you over until your tubes are in your hands for a high quality 5x7 print version of "...Just Progress".
